Samacheer Kalvi question paper generator for Classes 9–12

Pick the class, the subject and the units you have taught. Examaker builds the whole paper in the pattern the board actually uses — parts, marks split, internal choice, register-number strip — from the prescribed Samacheer Kalvi textbook, with your school’s name and logo on it.

What it makes

Every paper a Tamil Nadu teacher actually has to set

Not one generic template with a marks slider. Each of these is a real pattern, built per subject and per class.

  • Public exam pattern

The full board structure for the class and subject, with the parts and internal choice in the right places.

  • Model & revision papers

Same shape as the public paper, different questions — as many as you need before the exam.

  • Quarterly, half-yearly, annual

Term papers scoped to the portions actually taught by that point in the year.

  • Unit & monthly tests

Pick only the இயள் or units you have finished.

  • Weekly and slip tests

Short one-mark and two-mark papers for a Monday morning, generated in under a minute.

  • Your own pattern

Build a section structure your school uses and save it. It becomes reusable like any other.

Every subject that is built

Classes 9 and 10 — English, தமிழ் (Tamil), Mathematics, Science, Social Science.

Classes 11 and 12 — English, தமிழ் (Tamil), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Accountancy, Commerce, Economics, and Business Mathematics and Statistics.

Each of them carries its own exam-pattern templates, because a Class 12 Accountancy paper and a Class 9 Tamil paper are not the same shape and cannot be generated from the same rules.

One honest limit. Tamil is supported as a subject. Tamil-medium papers for other subjects — Physics in Tamil, Science in Tamil — are not available yet. If that is what you need, please do not buy a plan for it today.

Where the questions come from

Book back, book inside, or both

Every question in the Samacheer Kalvi bank is taken from the prescribed textbook. You choose which part of it you want:

  • Book back — the printed exercises at the end of each lesson. The questions your students have already seen and been told to practise.
  • Book inside — questions drawn from the content of the lesson itself. The ones that tell you who actually read the chapter.
  • Both — the usual choice for a term or public-pattern paper.

A small minority of the bank is AI-assisted, and it passes exactly the same human review as everything else. Nothing reaches a teacher’s paper without a person approving it first. How the question bank is built →

The printed page

It comes out looking like a board paper

The header carries your school name and logo, the exam title, class, subject, time allowed and maximum marks, with a register-number strip for students. In Tamil papers the header is written in Tamil and multiple-choice options are lettered அ ஆ இ ஊ, not A B C D.

Print it one-sided, two-sided, or horizontal with two pages to a sheet. Paid plans produce clean PDFs with no watermark.

Do not like a question it picked? Edit the wording, the options or the answer straight on the paper — free on every plan — or swap it for another from the same chapter and mark value.

Samacheer Kalvi questions

Classes 9 to 12. Classes 9 and 10 cover English, Tamil, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Classes 11 and 12 add Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Accountancy, Commerce, Economics, and Business Mathematics and Statistics.

Both book back and book inside. You can draw only from the printed exercises at the back of each lesson, only from inside the lesson, or from both together. Every question comes from the prescribed Samacheer Kalvi textbook and is checked by a person before a teacher can use it.

Yes. The exam header is written in Tamil, multiple-choice options are lettered அ ஆ இ ஊ, and the Tamil-specific question types the board uses are supported. Tamil is supported as a subject; Tamil-medium papers for other subjects such as Physics are not yet available.

Yes. Public exam, model, term and mid-term, monthly, unit, weekly and slip test patterns are all built per subject and class, and your school can build its own pattern as well.

No. Examaker tracks what it has already given you and rotates, so a second paper on the same units is a genuinely different paper rather than the same questions reshuffled.
